Empires and Allies - Using your timing correctly

When generating your own coins, wood, oil or ore - you need to consider timing. In the early stages of the game when you are relatively energy-rich (because you need fewer XP to level up and replenish your energy) but resource poor and need to expand quickly then you are better off down the lower production end of the scale because here you will enjoy the biggest yields per unit of time.

Later on, your energy becomes scarce and you want to use it mostly for fighting because this is where it is best spent. When this happens, you want go for the higher production options. You'll have to wait longer but you won't have to "harvest" as much which always takes a unit of energy. Also, there is some minimal cost saving but it is insignificant.

Empire and Allies guide to resources – Coins, Wood, Oil and Ores

Advancing in Empires and Allies is not as easy as it may seem. Resources are of utmost importance in Empires and Allies as you cannot build military units, buildings, battle or level up without them. There are many different resources and acquiring them as well as understanding them is your key to success. Coins, Wood, Oil and Ore are the main resources of Empires and Allies.

Coins:

This resource is very important and without them you are helpless. Almost every building and all units will cost you coins. Coins will allow you to construct buildings that will help you gather other resources needed for the further development of your empire. Coins can be collected from daily bonuses, by winning battles, completing your goals, by collecting them from your building regularly and by visiting and helping your friends and their empires.

Wood:

Wood is the second resource that you will have to worry about. This resource is needed to create buildings and decorations. One of the buildings that requires Wood is the Oil Well which will in return provide you with a stable source of Oil. Wood can be acquired in several ways:
-    Clearing trees in your empire (you will gain 1 Wood for a bush and up to 10 Wood for a tree.)
-    Purchasing them on the market place of one of your neighbors
-    Gift from a friend
-    Completing quests
-    Starting a contract with your Lumber Mill
The Lumber Mill will provide you with a steady production of Wood so build it as soon as you can.

Oil:

In order to win advanced battles you will need to create advance Air, Ground and Navy units. These units require Oil. Oil is acquired from Oil Wells  which will provide you with stable production of Oil if you start a contract with them.

Ore:

Building advanced buildings and military units will require Ore. This resource is probably the most difficult to obtain. In order to acquire a stable production of Ore you will have to buy Ore mines. There are four different colors of Ore in the game. You will be assigned to one of them when you start playing this game. In order to get a steady amount of all ores you’ll have to do some trading etc. and gather ore in combat and by invading because of this
Ways of acquiring Ore in Empires and Allies:
-    Critical Kill or Critical Hit combat drops
-    Winning battles
-    Asking your friends to send you your color of the Ore
-    Buying them from the market.

Without these resources you can’t progress in Empires and Allies. Coins will help you get more Wood, and with Wood and Coins you can obtain Oil. With Oil, Coins and Wood you craft buildings and units that will allow you to gain more resources and ultimately Ore.

However, if you really want to master this game you should always consider getting the Empires and Allies Domination guide which will teach you how to truly master this game and reveal all the secrets behind the most successful players in Empires and Allies.

Do you really need a guide to play Empires and Allies?

Well, the short answer would be no. No, you don't need a strategy guide to play Empires and Allies. The longer answer is not quite so simple though. You can play the game, and struggle along basically trying to re-invent the wheel at every turn. You can waste large amounts of time and resources as you make different attempts with varying degrees of success. That is certainly one way you can go about it.

Imagine your neighbor playing the same game. Imagine he or she grabbed up a strategy guide like Empires and Allies Domination Guide. Imagine that he or she is putting to use the communal wisdom that went into creating a guide like that in the form of the offered tips and hints while you are struggling along re-inventing the wheel. What do you think the outcome would be? Your neighbor will most likely be miles and miles ahead of you by the time you get everything he or she already knows figured out. It creates a gap that will continue to grow, and that you will likely never be able to erase.

So you have two possibilities laid out before you, and which you choose in the end is up to you and what you wish to accomplish. There isn't really a right or wrong way to go about it. For myself, I know which way I would approach the game. In fact, how I did approach the game. I picked up a copy of Empires and Allies Domination guide for myself. I read it, studied it, and put its wisdom into practice for my own empire. Now I dominate, and so can you, but the choice is yours. Pick up your copy today!

Empires & Allies - Task Guide VI - Something I have just found this second - Just released

In Empires & Allies, Zynga's casual take on the RTS genre, quests are called 'tasks.' The player has to complete these tasks in order to advance the story and open new options. This guide covers the quests the writer encountered when playing through Episode One. Because the task structure is so open, search the guide for the name of the quest you need more information on.

Please note that the rewards for each completed Task include some rewards to share via post to your News Feed. Because these shared rewards are not specified on the Task completion screen, they are not included in this guide.

To read more on the tasks and what you need to do to complete them visit: http://expertscolumn.com/content/empires-allies-task-guide-vi

Empires and Allies Strategy: Best Empires And Allies Layout - Check it out

What is the best Empires and Allies layout? I don't know, but the pros all seem to share the same key elements. Here is the Level 51 layout by well-known Empires and Allies (and other Zynga games too) player: T-Dub (Tony Sanders).

They build south from the main island. Many seem to build their houses down there, I'm not sure why. But I think they establish it as a base, a kind of coins machine or powerhouse.

Clearly it pays off to lump similar buildings together. If you do that then it makes your life so much easier when it comes to replenishing your buildings. You will save a lot of time with this strategy.

Notice how economical with the use of space he is - hardly any exposed coastline. So when he used his expansions, he nearly always had good land space to build on.

All those tarmac areas for aeroplanes though, that is not economical at all. I guess he makes plenty of oil. And you can see he spends most of his wood because he only has 3,411 but I guess he just doesn't need that much wood, only enough to expand. No doubt that his coins are all from those farms.

Discover from T-Dub how you can legally dominate the game, getting the large Greek Houses, Level III industries and military, as well as the Space Exploration Center, all Powerups, Decorations and Expansions - Click Here.

Empires And Allies Energy Hack? What Is It? Can You Hack The Energy?

Is there an Empires and Allies energy hack? No, but there is something close. In this article, I will tell you how to get more and more energy easily and the tips just get better and better. The final one is the closest thing to an energy hack that you will find.

  • Wait. OK, this is the worst one. But if you are out of energy then you can just wait a few minutes to get replenished.
  • Visit your neighbors and tend to their empires. Each neighbor you do this for will give you one free energy.
  • Engage in battle. Most of the time this will cost you energy but sometimes it won't. A bit chancy though.
  • Ask your friends for energy. The game will prompt you to do this when you run out and it will usually work.
  • Give your friends energy. If you do this then they will hit a button to simply send you some back. This works really well.
  • Go to neighbor groups and beg for energy to become someones neighbours. Many noobs will actually go for this.
  • Finally, there is a trick that means you can always have unlimited energy. In fact, I find myself with more than I can hold in my inventory. So I have 50 energy in my energy bar PLUS a total of 15 batteries of each type which is total 90 energy units. And I can still get more, I just don't have space for them, lol! Top 25 Facebook Games - July 2011: Zynga's Empires & Allies conquers - Latest News

Blog.games.com - 5 jul 11

Hear ye, hear ye -- the numbers are in and it looks like Zynga's Empires & Allies has successfully arrived and conquered the competition since its launch last month, bumping its sibling FarmVille out of its #2 spot and possibly looking to overtake CityVille this summer.

With all this going on did you know there was also a group on Facebook called Empires and Allies Blueprint?  It has only just been set up but it is there for anyone who wants to start there own links and invite friends

Our Advice To Conquer Empires and Allies - Part 1 of 2

Build the most expensive houses. This is because they will save you space on your map. You will earn less coins per hour from rent this way but it doesn't matter because houses are a lousy way to make coins and we will do that in other ways. You'll

also save more energy this way because of fewer rent collections per day (personally, I don't even waste my energy on rent collections at all!).

The only exception to this rule is when starting out and you can't yet get a farm. In that case, go for a cheaper house that will return you coins faster. Also, don't forget to periodically replace small houses with larger ones as your population increases.

Build new government buildings as soon as possible. Especially early on, you'll increase your population rapidly and quickly reach a limit and be kicking yourself that you didn't build one earlier. You should try to save so you have enough before you hit this limit. If you see one available and you don't have enough wood or coins then start saving!

Build only one or two of each military facility. At the beginning of the game it is easy to make the mistake of building 10 barracks, for example. This is a mistake because you can quickly manufacture most military units so you don't need many working at the same time. You have to reach level 20 and beyond before the manufacturing times become significant and you will get plenty of warning signs of this well ahead of time.

Empires and Allies Strategy - Guide to Building

Constructing the buildings in your empire is done via the "Build" menu. Here you can find three important sub-menus that allow you to construct:

Houses for your citizens. Military facilities to manufacture the machines of war (tanks, planes, soldiers etc.). Industrial facilities to create your resources (farms, oil wells, lumber mills etc.).

There are two other important sub-menus too:

Government - occasionally you have to buy government buildings to increase your population. Expansion - occasionally you have to buy these to expand the areas on which you can build.

There are also three menus that you can totally ignore:

Decorations - ignore this as they serve no purpose in the game other than to look pretty. Power-Ups - ignore this as it is basically a shop for Zynga. You can get these for free by fighting. Resources - ignore this as this is basically another Zynga shop. No sane person would spend money here.

Empires and Allies - How To Put Map Items Into Inventory? Loophole secret

Space on your map is a premium in this game so what about your inventory? Inventories are normally for storing stuff so what can you put in there?

Well, unfortunately, you cannot take something from your map and place it in your inventory. The game won't let you do that. The inventory is really used to store things that the game gives you and wants you to place.

But there is a loophole you can exploit!

If you create military units and are about to place them then you can click the cancel button and it will put it in your inventory. The best part is that you can use these units in battle, even though they aren't on your map!

So if you want to have 24 military units stuffed in your inventory and none on the map then all 24 will be available to choose from any time you have a battle. This leads to all kinds of other possibilities too...
